I took for 7 years and through 2 healthy pregnancies. It was my miracle drug! It stopped working for me in Jan 2008. I probably developed antibodies. I never had any side effects.

In 2002, I received Remicade Infusions at a hospital. I went as a 23 hour patient.
On the 6th Infusion, I had a full anaphalactic reaction to it.
BP dropped, Hives , throat swelling, difficulty breathing, and so on.
Fortunately I was in the hospital, and they were able to take care of the situation. I stayed overnight just to be monitored.
Since this, both of my doctors do not want me to risk taking any of the other biologics ...as they are "cousins" to each other.

I improved, but still needed sirgery- currenlty not getting infusions

Been having Remicade infusions every 56 weeks since July 2007 to treat my Ulcerative Colitis. I am not yet 100 but I finally got off of Prednisone after two years of taking that horrid medicine.

This has been by far the best drug. No side effects whatsoever. Too bad it doesn't last long & is very expensive. Currently still taking Remicade.

Actually taking for Ankylosing Spondylitis but helps with my Crohns because I am on a higher dose than used for Crohns. Experience fatigue,headaches, easily bruised,sweating
