I'm very glad this was an option for me and I had reconstruction on both sides. I'm so happy I did. I still get moments of sadness and depression but I count my blessings that it was caught early for me and that the reconstruction left me feeling better about myself.

Yes it worked well so far. I have scars but they aren't so bad. I had cancer in the left side so the scar is worse and more unattactive. I'm waiting to get my nipples. I have to wait until my implants drop some before they do that part.
