I am re-reading Codependent No More and Insecure No More. Codependent No More is good but confusing at times.
One really amazing book I've read about abuse is "Stolen Tomorrows" by Steven Levekron. It really helped me to recognize how "normal" my feelings were from my abuse. I've also finally started a workbook called "Resurrection After Rape" that I got from the hospital after my rape. It is an AWESOME resource for women who have been sexually assaulted and have some really great assignments. Can be used alone or with a therapist.

"Motherless Daughters" helps me understand but not heal the hurt at all.

I have been doing a lot of reading. I'm working on my third book in two days. Mysteries tend to help my mind try to solve those issues and I don't have to think about what's going on in my life.

In the beginning I immersed myself in written material; a desperate search to understand the mechanics of what was happening.

Also reading Melody Beattie's book on daily meditation and the 12 steps one as well.
