I work the Alanon12 steps and do my readings faithfully. I try to do at least one bible study- I love Beth Moore studies. I tend to always return to anything. Psalms in the Bible and I love the story of David.

Books take me into another world that is not my own, which helps distract me from feeling the loss and absence of my father.

Louise Hay writes amazing books about mental and physical well-being and positive affirmations, along with alternative methods of healing ourselves. Recently, my psychologist suggested this book: The Anxiety & Phobia Workbook by Edmund J. Bourne, PH. D. - and this workbook has helped me and my husband both in tremendous ways. It is very way to read, understand, and is highly interactive. Dr. Wayne Dyer is also an amazing author whose methods of speaking and writing are quite effective.
