I have had some unhelpful comments from counsellors such as telling me that I take too many risks (in my first session) but overall I think this has saved my life

I had rape crisis counselling for a year after the second rape. It was wonderful but due to funding etc. they can only support survivors for up to a year after an assault.

It is going well but it hard work and I sometimes feel like crying more when I have had the counselling then before, but it is working for me.
