I had 33 radiation treatments they only made me tired but did not really affect me too much. I had a burning sensation in my throat during the treatments as they were treating my lymph nodes.

The treatments themselves were painless, but two years after the fact, I have permanent damage in my rectum that causes daily rectal pain and spasms.
