Working / Worked
Not fun! The dry mouth and terrible taste and soreness is incredible. Am worried I may have to use feeding tube although fighting like hell not to! Start 18th session tomorrow. 17 to go.

I am going through my second round of radiation. The first round was more or less precautionary, then in September we found more cancer in the lymph nodes above my diaphragm and the lymph nodes around my left clavicle. The radiations seems to shrinking the nodes near my clavicle so that's a good sign. The side effects are extreme fatigue, and other side effects will vary depending on where you are receiving the radiation.

I found it very easy to do, though I did have a third degree burn afterwards

Not bad, tiring.

17 sessions was all I needed to complete my treatments. I received treatment to my mantle region resulting in a sore throat and a winter time tanning in the area of treatment.

I had radiation treatment. I had few side effects. I am still tired all the time.

The treatment was pretty much nothing. The internal radiation wasn't fun, but pretty much nothing. A side effect for me has been all abdominal. Daily ick, and bathroom issues,EVERY day. Not huge, but sometimes exhausting and always irritating.
Working / Worked
Can't speak for what it did as he died two months later. I think it made him worse as he could not eat and he just constantly lost weight.
