My first signs began in 1991 but was dignoised as panic attacks. It went untreated for 2 more years, during which time i was reciveing treatment for panic attacks. In 1993 I recieved the RAI. Since then it has been a nightmare of endless medication and conseling for depression.

I was radioactive for 3 days. Couldnt go into a bank without setting off alarms. It tasted just like water. No my thyroid gland is dead and I have to be on thyroid meds the rest of my life. Dont miss any does people....after the 3rd missed dose your brain will start to swell. Been there done that....not a fun thing to have happen.

Side effects.....you lose your Thyroid all-together and become Hypo. Have to take Thyroid Replacement Meds for the rest of your life. Wach out for your eyes!!! makes eyes worse!
