it did. my eyes went right back to normal. thank God.

I had 150 millicuries of the stuff and it really did a number on the salivary glands and my sense of taste. Other than that I was thankful it had not gone into my lungs or anywhere else. :)

Worked well. Destroyed my thyroid as planned.

Also did what it was suppose to do only on it for 10 days previous to thyroid surgery

had a good experience with RAI-then went on Levothyroxine 50 mcgs, then to 75, 88, and back to 75, as doc said I was getting a tad too much&was concerned of bone loss.

So, so their seems to be a debate about whether I have residual Thyroid or not.

It worked very well and started seeing a difference within 2 months.

Be really careful after having the rad io, It was about a month after I had the treatment and I started having back pains, achy joints, just hurting all over. About 2 1/2 weeks before my followup I was deathly ill couldn't hardly walk, went to the er and was told it was a good thing I came in when I did or I would have been in a coma in a few days. If you arent feeling right after you have it done before your followup dont hesitate!!! call your doctor. I am now doing well on synthroid.

No problems since I did this!

I drank Radioactive Iodine. It worked. Now I have hypothyroid. It was hard in the beginning but now it's under control.
