It has been very helpful
Working / Worked
Specifically, S.E. (Somatic Experiencing), lesser known/publicized PTSD treatment. I find it VERY effective and very hope-instilling and appropriate for me.
Working / Worked
I am still involved in counseling.
Very effective, referred to daily support.
Working / Worked
This has not worked for me yet. Would like to hear of folks who've had a certain type of therapy that's worked for them?
Yes - it is a great form of support and creates awareness which seems to aid healing.
In addition to putting in a true effort counseling education 12 step exercise diet changes hypnosis same sex group therapy and prayer. I feel committed to continuing to be abstinent.
Working / Worked
I totally believe in therapy with the "right" therapist. Yes, it helps and it works if you are ready, open and honest through the process.
Working / Worked
I am currently working on this. But, when you change your counselor you have to get used to it. And tell your life story all over again.
Working / Worked
As of right now, it's too soon to tell if the counseling has had a lasting effect. I only recently came to the realization of what happened and am still working on accepting it.
