I was on Prozac along with xanax for about eight years and really well. I stopped taking it to see how I would do and within 6 months the attacks were back as bad as ever. I ended up not getting any treatment for about four years and then needed to go back to work so I went back on Prozac. It did nothing for me the second time. I gave it time and even increased the dose but it didnt work.

It took away the fear. The fear that is health and the fear that is unhealthy. I ended up drinking too much which was bad. I never had sexual thoughts on it. It was too numbing for me so I stopped it all together.

After several trials with various anti-depressants, Prozac was the most effective for me. I haven't been on it in years, but I'm considering it again.
