Temporary prosthesis was a joke! Inever could walk with it. When I got my new "Peggy Sue", I wlked with it the first time I tried! I use a cane only when I have to walk long distances.

I am currrentl on my second set of legs...It is hard to tell how well tthet will work since just got them. Tey still need some adjustment but at least i can walk in them
Working / Worked
I have a leg that uses hydraulics to operate. I've had a lot of skin rashes. Tuesday, I should pick up a Rheo. That's a computerized knee that should put less strain on my muscles for operation, however, it weighs more than my current leg of 9 lbs.
Working / Worked
So far so good. A few minor adjustments. High cost in replacement parts, but worth it. The process of getting fitted to the final product took a while. But, also worth the wait.
