Had a silicon/vacuum sleeve with a College Park ankle. No probs other than the odd absess etc!

I have found it better than previous aid which was an in-sole. Much more versatile allowing me to wear more types of shoes. But it can be tight and cause soreness of the skin and pain. This normally reduces with time once I break into it and it stretches a bit.

does an IM rod count? I got lucky and there was a foreign specialist in plastics that took intrest in me. He talked them into doing a 13mm IM rod. This was great because the orthopods wanted to put an Ilizerov device. Not fun!

Having an excellent prosthetist is the key. I'm very lucky to have one of the best. We have had to tweak some things here & there, but they have all fit like gloves. Its been a great experience for me. I'm always asking questions about new things & willing to try them out if he recommends them.

So far I am in my 1st temp socket. Suppose to get the next one next week. I am up to 25 ply socks in this one!!
