Dr. had me on 5mg daily. It helped a lot, but I gained 20 pounds while taking it and the pain was still severe.

Haven't coughed since I started taking it. Heart feels great due to ICD and pred, but the side effects are KILLER!
The hunger is what gets me...! Now I know how a vampire feels for blood! I can't stop eating! I lost about 50 lbs over the first 6 months of this year from the sarc, but have put back on about 15 lbs since September...all hail salad!!

Periodic short term titrating doses. Wonderful drug. Had panic attacks, heart rate bounding 105 - 112. Fear of loss of calcium. Already have Osteoporosis.

It helped once the Mestinon stopped working but it wasnt completely effective. I still couldnt walk for more than five minutes before getting tired for the rest of the day. Side effects were bad I developed high blood sugar weight gain GERD and osteoporosis. I was taken off of it gradually after the thymectomy.
