Positive Reinforcement Reviews

Show: for
Working / Worked
This works so well. It is so important to tell our children when they demonstrate good behavior.
MY SON GETS REWARDED WHEN HE LISTENS.EX. WE PLAY A BOARD GAME OR READ A STORY OR EVN GO FOR LONG WALKS WHEN WEATHER PERMITS
I forget to catch him being good but I attempt to throughout the day.
Working / Worked
Not only is it better, but it helps me to encourage positive behaviors and if I give rewards for good behavior, that says a lot more than if he gets in trouble because I always seem to give him the "reward" anyway so it defeats the purpose
Very effective
WORKS GREAT!
Working / Worked
This has helped me a lot. My son insists on doing a lot of stuff on his own so anytime he does something new we always clap and say "Ta Da"
This works better then I ever thought, until he gets a little full of himself and starts replying with "I know I am" and " i know everything, even more then you dad"
I would rather use positive reinforcement than punishment and it seems to work best. My only punishment is time-out and a form of logical consequences. I try to mainly do positive reinforcement and praise "good choices".
Working / Worked
My son always wants to make mommy proud and loves the attention of getting rewarded with claps and hugs when he has done something good.
