I find that making a big deal about "spending time in MYYYYY room!" and setting aside time to play with "just me" makes my little manzie feel so special, and he looks forward to his "mommy+me" time. His level of energy requires constant burning off; I wonder if he's part humming-bird. He never stops MOVING! Comes in handy though, because he loves to help me clean, so he's always handy around the house :)
