I took my kids to playgrounds from the time they were able to walk. I found playgrounds with fences, We went 4-6 days a week.

I love taking her to day care for the interaction and time spent with other peers. It's a stimulation that we as adults can't quite give her. She needs other kids around her age to learn with/from.

As a form of distraction this works well. There are specific toys that I save for when she needs to work something out. She uses making up her own songs to process her emotional and mental development challenges.

i let my first born daughter ride her bike around my back yard(not to much bigger than a prison cell) and take her up 2 the pool as ofter as i can-shes extremely hyper and NEEDS to run around and be around other kids in order for her to be content
