My favorite treatment of all...once I got the catheter placed. I receive albumin in exchange for my plasma. It usually makes me feel better within days. I have not had any reactions or side effects with this treatment.

i was unable to have it given in my arms because my viens would collapse so i had a cathider in my neck i found this treatment work very well and the only two side effects were tired and stomach pain from the calcium

Hell the best way to describe it. two tubes stuck out of my neck and having to lay there for 2 hours after i just got done of 4 hours of dialysis stayn sick all the time it was only once a day but those where the longest 27 days ever

I had 6 treatments and it does slowly work. The worse part was my pain was so horrible I was on morphine and when they did the treatments I guess it cleared the medication out and my pain was worse during those treatments.

Very helpful. I still have some problems with speach, shortness of breath and swallowing but I can manage.

Im on 60mg of prednisone and semidaily sometimes every other day plasmapheresis. I say the treatments are working but my platelet number is consistent yet and my LDH and WBC is fluctuating.
