Plaquenil has been working for me for 10years. But now my joint pain and chest pain is gettin worse, so I need to discuss other options with the doctor. No side affects for me. I see the opthamologist 2x a year to check my eyes. Never any probs.

It worked very well with a low dosage so I stopped taking it in 2007. Only recently have I experienced any symptoms of a more serious flare.
