Pizotifen (trade names Pizotyline, Sandomigran) is a benzocycloheptane based drug used as a medicine. Pizotifen is a serotonin antagonist acting mainly at the 5-HT1 and 5-HT2A receptors. It also has some activity as an antihistamine.

Have been taking Pizotifen a migraine preventative for about 5 years now and this has reduced my Migraines from about 2 to 3 a week to about 1 or 2 a month. Take one 1.5mg tablet nightly.

This seems to reduce how often i have migranes and they seem to be less severe when i do get one
