(also known as Light Therapy, UV Therapy)
When absorbed by the skin, UV light is thought to suppress the immune-mediated processes involved in psoriasis. Daily, short, nonburning exposure to sunlight can therefore help to clear or improve psoriasis. more at Wikipedia

Phototherapy Reviews

Show: for
Working / Worked
Purchased a tanning bed. I lay very little hours, just enough to keep it under control
Working / Worked
did not work, due to I'm very sensitive to the sun or light due to my meds.
Working / Worked
I love the sun--it helps me emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Skin cancer, be damned!!!
Being outside in the sun is the cheapest, but in the snowy winter not the easiest. I'd rather just stay in bed, reach over and switch on one of those nifty sun lamps.
Working / Worked
time in the sun seems to lessen it, dry it up a bit
Working / Worked
worked but then it all came back :o(
Working / Worked
part of the 'stanford treatment' at that time so i think it helped and i came out 'very tan'...
Working / Worked
I use a sun bed occasionally and this really seems to help. Downside of skin cancer I suppose so it's personal choice with this one.
Working / Worked
Tanning and enbrel are the best combo!!!
Working / Worked
It works, but it takes forever for what little results I got!
