this is a diet pill but gives me energy and is essential to my daily life at this point. Its the only thing that keeps me going.

I took this pill in the year 2000, and lost 60 lbs with it. As soon as I stopped, I gained the weight back plus some, this is also (I think) the reason I hv heart problm

i used that for 4 months and lost 7kgs with exersise in 3-4 weeks. then fell off the wagon cause the side effects.and didnt exersise anymore

I am taking phentermine along with a strict diet. The phentermine helps control the cravings and hunger. I have lost 76.5 lbs so far and am still losing. I am following the diet, being monitored by the doctor every two weeks. I report any side effects and he tells me what I should do to fix/relieve them. Taking the phentermine and staying on this diet (very healthy foods, white meat, fruitd, vegies, lowfat dairy prod. and whole wheat bread- all in 1 portion sizes)- has brought my cholesterol down to just a couple of points above normal so far and my BP is perfect. I had my first "real" period last week (without the aid of birth control/ fertility treatments), my hair is starting to grow where it was thinning, my anxiety is gone, The hair on my face/body is becoming thinner and growing I feel great. Hopefully I will be able to update the effects on ovulation soon. I am having a test in a few days.
Side effects for me- constipation, tiredness (I take a daily multivitamin/mineral) dry mouth and some sleepiness. Modiness...but my hormones are getting straightened out, so that is a good thing ;)
