Working / Worked
it did work until my medical insurance was cancelled and I couldn't afford it. came off it cold turkey 2007
Paxil worked great for me in getting my life back together after an out of the blue end to my marriage. Then I felt it was time to come off after two yrs of being on it ...wow ..MAJOR withdrawls ...like a very bad ride at the carnival ...My doc tried everything to ween me off ...no luck ...so now I take the bare dosage every few days ..just to keep the withdrawls from kicking in ...it no longer effects my mood ...but when I try to not take it ...sick as a dog ...I was part of a class action lawsuit and got a pretty nice settlement from the makers because it was originally advertised as non habit forming (BS) - but when I did the math ...they came out way ahead because ten yrs later ..IM STILL stuck on the drug ...so they have gotten every dime of what they settled for back out of me. AVOID IF POSSIBLE but if depression is severe it could save your life ...it did mine.

Working, but my necks itches like crazy. Not sure it's from the med.
Horrible. Does not help.
It worked. But I was on 3x the regular dose. I started with 1 dose, then doc upped to 2...then 3. Side affects: made me a dumb dumb. Could not think straight. Foggy mind. I LOVE math, but simple math skills would stump me. Side effects were bad for about a month. I hate taking meds....so I weened myself off (not easy). Now I go for a 20 minute brisk walk when I need a boost.
