Yes, it does help him stay calm.
It helps me personally, as well as creates peace in my home!!
According to others I have extreme patience with kids and my daugher. I don't see it, sometimes I lose my cool and have to leave the room but over all I've only had to do that maybe 4-5 times in 13 months.
