Working / Worked
Took bromocriptine for 2 years with every side effect under the sun. Adjusting to it initially was horrible. I was bed ridden for 28 days only getting up to vomit and use the bathroom. Started referring to it as the wave of horror. Over time the side effects did deminish but I always experienced dizziness nausea painful loss of circulation in my hands and feet. Low mood tiredness.
Working / Worked
Worked to decrease tumor size. Really bad side effects. Taking Cabergoline now which still has side effects but are slightly more tolerable.
Working / Worked
Prolactin is at normal level. Now dealing with DHs low sperm count and motility.
Working / Worked
So far the tumor has not reduced in size but it has not grown anymore.

10 mg a day.I REFER TO IT AS PURE INSANITY.Compulsive hypersexuality at the most insane levels.Worked at shrinking tumorruining marriage and making me angry alot..Also gave nice thoughts of suicide I was switched to cabergoline but not till after a year of complaining.
Working / Worked
To lower prolactin levels because I have a tumor on my pituitary. Did bring down the level but I cannot take a hot shower in the morning on it because I pass out.

I have been on bromo for years. The side effects are difficult sometimes yet I push myself mentally and physically every day to stay strong and focussed. Which we all know can be a chore... Recently I have had big life changes in several areas. My prolactin levels started to shoot up. now my dose has been raised. Im finally starting to have more good days than bad!
Working / Worked
My periods came back and my headaches stopped! However I only took it for about two months before I got pregnant. Side effects were nasty nausea and dizziness but not unbearable.
