I was on injections until I was 33, then went on a pump. Two years on the pump, mayo clinic had me get a panc. transplant. Works great! My kidney's doing less well,

Too Soon To Tell
Was considered at one point, but doctors told my family I would "Never make it off the operating table" It may be an option in the future. I only have 1/2 a pancreas and with necrotic tissue my pancreas is only 40%.
