Just had Spinal Cord Stimulation surgery. I wasn't having any luck with oral medications, so now I have a computer that sends electrical impulses to my brain to "distract" it from my chronic pain. Hit some road bumps with a little infection and muscle problems, but my constant pain has subsided and my active pain is cut in half :o) And I don't have to worry about "building up a tolerance," like you do with pain meds.
