I could get through the session, but then I was down for the rest of the day and the next day. I miss the ultrasound massage though. :)
Using extended release pain meds has helped. No more ups and downs like with vicodin. Also the injection do help too. He put me in Physical Therapy and that has helped the most. Getting the pain under control first though to be able to do PT.

I have not been to a clinic but I do know a little about what they do. Lots of mind stuff. I do that on my own. Imaging such ss floating on a cloud of yummy blue cotton candy..listening with my headphones to a band called "Dead Can Dance"...this is renaissance, gypsy music where the singer goes into a trance and sings using a language long dead or known only to her. I highly recommend their CD called "a passage in time" for anyone with chronic pain. This band awes the most rowdiest bikers. Andr

narcotics do help with the joint pain, nothing seems to help with the headaches
