42 yrs of my life I grew up fine. I had a pacemaker implanted back in DEC 09. Now I am experiencing CHF and need to get my MVP fixed. they are talking about fixing my valve and if that doesnt improve the pump function they are wanting to put in a LVAD pump. Still waiting to see.

just got one on 1/13/11because monitor showed heart was slowing down and stopping during sleep. went right back into hospital because of fluid build up in heart sac and then went in a second time for another effusion - including one lung
Had pacemaker put in in June, 2009 but I still have atrial fib. No side effects
Greatly improved her quality of life!
