I have been on other medications that just did nothing but made me like a zombie. I have been on OxyContin for over 15yrs, it is time released which has turned out to be just short of a miracle. Due to the drug being time released I can truly judge if the medication is working or not and it is. The one thing I can say without question is that taken properly the medication works.

It was the only thing that worked in controlling the pain but I had to use a lot more of it then the doctor recommended he put me on 1 pill 3 times a day but I had to take 3 pills at once in order for the pain to just be tolerated. He has now taken me off them as he says I am abusing them but now I get to the point where I cant even get out of bed some days. I will be seeing a new doctor soon though and hopefully he can give me something that will work.
