Working / Worked
Currently on 5-FU and I'm still working full time. Fatigue is really starting to get to me. Acupuncture helped the nausea. My company has been supportive.
Working / Worked
18 months post-diagnosis and so far no definite signs of recurrence. Possible reaction to the medication consisting of a rash all over my body caused us to stop the therapy after 9 of 12 cycles. Some lingering numbness in my feet, but doesn't affect my ability to walk. The sensitivity to cold and change in taste was the worst - could only drink lukewarm lemonade at one point. But luckily only temporary.
Working / Worked
Absolutely kicked my butt. Very difficult to deal with and I ended up terminating treatment early.
Working / Worked
had to stop at 6 treatments as my neuropathy increased to my feet, after having it in my hands for a while.
Working / Worked
Had 5 treatments and had to discontinue due to low Platelets. Off for 3n treaments. All is well with platelets so going to try Oxi for last four treatments at a lower dose.I know it's a bad drug for side effects but a good drug for killing cancer cells so willing to take the extra side effects if I can.
Working / Worked
Underwent 'mop up' chemo.
Working / Worked
worked, but had a reaction. Very sick after 5 months.
Working / Worked
Unable to touch anything cold, including door knobs and silverware
Working / Worked
HORRIBLE DRUG!!
Working / Worked
Periferial neuropathy, extreme sensitivity to cold.
