Overeaters Anonymous (OA) is a Twelve Step program for people identifying themselves as "powerless over food" including, but not limited to, compulsive overeaters, those with binge eating disorder, bulimics and anorexics. I joined OA in May of 2010 and have not had to eat compulsively since. I am granted a daily reprieve One Day at A Time (ODAT).

Overeaters Anonymous helped me tremendously. If only I can attend meetings again soon. I've struggled my whole life ,since I was 8 years old with anorexia. Plus sugar/food addiction. Still struggling-2013.
