Description

Abatacept is used to treat symptoms of moderate-to-severe rheumatoid arthritis, such as joint pain, swelling, and stiffness, in adult patients who have not been helped by other medicines. Abatacept helps improve the physical functioning of the patient and slow the progression of damage to the body from rheumatoid arthritis. However, this medicine does not cure arthritis and will help you only as long as you continue to take it.
