Occupational Therapy Reviews

Show: for
Have been doing OT for a little over a year. There has been improvements
Working / Worked
It works in bursts, some weeks yes others no, but overall progress.
This seems to help with their sensory disorder.
Working / Worked
I attended O.T. on a regular basis from ages 3yrs20yrs. I worked to gain control and use of my body especially my left side. I still have more difficulties than the average person would when it comes to motor planning and any physical task. But I am still much more ablebodied than anyone would have ever thought that I could be.
We love OT! It is my favorite kind of therapy. I might be biased since I'm an Occupational Therapy Practicitioner :)
Working / Worked
This worked for awhile and sometimes still does
with my older son. Doesnt work with my youngest
son.
Working / Worked
he also has some motor problems. with writing and his grip is somewhat on the weaker side. so this is also wonderful for him!
He took ot.
He did much better with OT, but our therapy place closed, so we are trying it on our own right now.
Working / Worked
Definitely helped unfortunately I have a hard time instituting the sensory diet and not having an IEP at school there is no way to have them to incorporate the diet into his school day so it isnt effective if there is no follow through at home. 1wk appt doesnt do much in the scheme of things!!
