I think I had the right frame of mind this time around. I got two weeks of 21mg patches bought a lot of sunflower seeds and raw veggies and went to it. I think the hardest part was actually picking a start date and going thru with it. The thought of never smoking a cig again terrified me. I approached it from an AA standpoint. I never think of quitting in terms of forever just today. I take it one day at a time. Day 16 the urges are coming less frequently and and have no sting left in them

Managed to quit smoking on 2nd day of patch used in combination with Zyban. Can only use patch on limbs - causes itchy rash if used on torso.

i quit soming using patches a couple of years ago, it worked fine while i was on the patches but a couple of weeks after i stopped using the patches i started smoking
