Worked as predicted. Sometimes gave me bone pain.

The most painful thing I have been through.

I ending up giving 3 self injections on day 4 5 &6 after chemo for low neutrophil count for most of my chemo. My doctor said he had never seen a case of this like mine. I discontinued this after chemo...yes. But it took about 2 months for my count to be back to
normal. Was hard giving myself the shots at first buy I got used to it.
They just got a bit expensive though.

The times when my white count is dangerously low I have gotten this drug and it did exactly what its supposed to, made me pretty sore (bone pain) that was very hard to keep controlled, however.

It worked. Extremely painful, joints, lower back and legs felt like it was on fire. I was given pain meds. Had fever and chills.

Works great on my skin.

After my first AVBD treatment my hematologist told me that my white blood cells were dangerously low and I had to delay one of my treatments because it wasnt safe. So I was given Neupogen which is a daily injection that I gave to myself it helps to produce mass amounts of white blood cells in your bone marrow to keep your immune system strong enough to get chemo. It caused me excruciating pain that not even dilaudid could take away. But it worked!!
