Use a netty-pot - think it's called this. Works great when I take time to use it. Best of all, no side effects, no burning of nostrils.

Saline spray works the best when I need to use a nasal spray. Does not bother the nasal membranes to much. When I am extremely dry will help as well as when I am extremely runny. I only use as needed.
