By the grace of God, I am a member of Narcotics Anonymous today and have a sponsor that is tough, also I have a home group. I am living one day at a time and am so grateful that I am part of a free program that teaches me a new way to live, free from addiction, and I don't have to go away from my children but, am working a program.

I attend meetings with my husband. I find them helpful because I'm learning to understand addiction and I'm meeting some really good people. It's also given me a new perspective on how I look and think about addicts and addiction.

I attend AA meetings because i feel more comfortable, and there are more meetings in my area. but the premise is essentially the same. AA has taught me to be more appreciative of life, live life one day at a time, and to live life on life's terms.
