he tried this two yrs back. The numbers (from his twice-yearly bloodwork) did look better while he went thru like 2 things of milk thisle.. I don't know why he stopped it...

I already have advanced cirrhosis. The diuretics are the thing now. I'm doing fine. The symptoms are mild and seem to rotate, one at a time. I ignore them mostly.

I used Milk Thistle in conjunction with Ribavirin and Interfereron, for the nearly 4 mos that I was on that prescribed treatment; and continued taking the Milk Thistle for several years thereafter. I still take it from time to time, when I have the extra funds to purchase it with.
