I had a routine bone scan and they found low bone mass in my left hip and lumbar spine L1~L4
Working / Worked
I can tolerate this medication. So far, this one seems to be working. I cannot tolerate any other medication. I've tried everything else and had severe side effect.
Somewhat Helpful
Used it for pain after my rib fracture.
Too Soon To Tell
Side effects: bloating, diahrrea, nausea, etc.
Sorry, had to up. One day, my muscles froze and I fell to the loor. My doctor took a blood test and said that the medication was not working. Now, taking the natural cocktail of: calcium, Vit D, magnesium, zinc, copper, boron (little darling!), shark cartilege and strontium. Strontium is not a prescription drug but must be supplied by a doctor. I am working with an Alternative Medicine MD in Suffern, NY.
Too Soon To Tell
I'm into my second month with the Miacalcin and things are going well. Doing the nasal spray every day is a bit annoying, but I shy away from the pill thing. Definitely scared of the side effects. A side effect with this could be runny nose, which I seem to have from time to time. It is not a major nuisance, however.
Not Working
Think it's causing more back pain on top of the fractures. Stopped for this reason. . .doctor's advice.
Not Working
