Metropprolol seems to be helping my heart slow down and beat stronger. But as with the Lenoxin, if I become anxious my heart will override the medication.

I was initially prescribed this for rapid heartrate but they have me at a dosage amount that is supposed to help my blood pressure also.

I have to take twice a day one in morning and one at night. It seems to help I guess and there have been no side effects as I can tell.
