The injection works far better.

Have taken for the last 20 years or so. I presume it's working.

This is one of the first treatments my doctor began. It made me sick and weak, and gave me heartburn. The doctor changed the medication to a weekly shot and it doesn't give me the distress that the pills did. I have had hair thinning. I now have no hair under my arms, and very little on my legs!

It worked well initially, until I relapsed last fall (at which time my doc switched me to Imuran).
I used 25 mg subcutaneously once weekly.
The only major side effect I had was severe nausea and occasional diarrhea the day after I injected.

I have not had any adverse reactions. I feel so much better. It works great. I felt the differrence right away, it seems.

Started on injections; stopped working - doctor took me off of the injections which I took solely with azathioprine as it was no longer effective. Now I take a very low dose along with my humira; doctor wants to wean me off of this at some point.

I am into my 3rd month of treatment and I have not noticed any sign of improvement. My pain just keeps getting worse. Side effects are I catch every bug that is going around.

its working... but i feel like crap once a week

Just had one treatment last weekend.

i take 5 tabs a week and find it keeps my hands clear but not my feet. my feet have gotten worse since i have been on methotrexate
