saved my life. I was ready to do myself in when I called my pain counselor and said I was at the end of the line. I had'nt wanted to take Methadone as I was looking at it as a moral isssue, but it controls the pain to where I can function and work, have a life. You HAVE to have an experienced pain med doctor who you can trust not to cut you off or drop your dose too quickly. Then, you have to stay honest with them and keep a good working relationship.

It does alright at taking the edge off of some of the pain. Just when I think it's not doing anything, and start tapering off of it, I realize how much it is helping.
