My boyfriend has been on the Methadone clinic for a little over a month now. Hes at 100 mg. If he misses a dose however he needs to get high or he will get sick.

Part of my current regimen, leaves me tired. Have cut my dosage in half in last year. YAY ME!

Methadone saved my life. My brain chemistry was going crazy after abusing heroin and other opiates so I could not stick with any other treatments because of how terrible I felt. Methadone normalized my brain enough for me to start really focusing on my recovery. Ive been off of heroin since day two of methadone treatment almost seven years ago. Its a vital tool of recovery for me. We all need to find our own individual combination of recovery tools that work for us.

Seems to be helping me more than anything else I've tried. I take 10 mg 4 times a day and it doesn't make me high. But I still have to take my Loratab when I'm really hurting bad.

I have a prescription for 3 -5mg.tabs of Methadone per day which works for pain.

effectively relieves pain, but not for 24 hours, and it seems that when doctors think of methadone they think only of the methadone treatment clinics. Not sure if that's for me, but considering.

It relieved the pain but unable to continue using because of vomiting
