i take it as needed, every 4 hrs or so...liquid form is the only way my stomach can tolerate it, and it works faster.

Seems to work. I am taking 60mg three times a day for now but I notice that my eyesight (muscle movement?) and my muscle fatigue begins to become an issue about three hours before my next dose. I have been told that it could take a while before the exact dosage can be worked out. I have had very few side effects from the mestinon. Minor digestive problems along with increased saliva, but nothing that is worse than having my eyelid closed all the time.

I have been on Mestinon for 20 years. For the first two the doctors were giving me to much and the side effects were horrible. My symptoms were worse add to that the stomach cramping, watering droopy eyes, non stop bathroom episodes that were so bad I passed out from pain. After they figured out my dosing it has worked well with minimal side effects.
