I could see a difference when I took Mestinon right away. The only problem I had was some digestive issues, as long as I take it w/food. It's ok.

120 mg 3 times daily helped with fatigue but still have some double vision

With bad symptoms, am taking 60mg every 1 1/2 hrs as well as extended release overnight. Side effects are loose bowels.

The time span Mestinon seems to be helping. Being that I am still working, my job did not allow me to take medicines eery 4 hours and I would not take it regularly. With the timespan, I feel evened out more.

Started out with 3x per day,now 4 + timespan. 09/2012-new neuro. Now at 90 ea 3hr+TS at night. Thymectomy helping. All symptoms less except chewing & eye. Doc increased meds to see if it would help.Feb 2013-IVIG has given me significant improvement. Now need less M. taking 60 mg 3-4 x per day +TS.

took my first dose of Mestinon yesterday. Had diarrhea, gas, and severe intestinal cramping, as well as a killer headache. Sick as a dog all evening--is this normal? I have discontinued the med.
