It helps with daily struggles. Sometimes I have a hard time keeping mentally aware of my thoughts and controlling them.
Learned meditation and self hypnosis to control anxiety. Currently use a combination of the 2 to control chronic pain and asthma attacks. Love it.

I try to mediatate for 20 minutes daily on the kind of person I intend on becoming. Very relaxing and I really enjoy it.
Morning and evening quiet time helps with the stress. I must remember I am responsible for my actions and reactions therefore I must slow my life down and learn to smell the roses. Dealing with CMT is an inside job I need support from friends and treat myself to concerts plays and good books. The most important activity is working with others this is when I forget about myself.

Mindfulness meditation and Yoga Nidraactually a meditative practice no bodily flexibility is needed. The mind can be like a naughty child what we tell it to do it wont! So sit or lie down comfortably in a room which is neither cold nor too warm in dim light but not in pitch darkness with fingertips pointed upwards not touching anything. Is wonderful, but i can only do it when i'm not at level 8-10 of anxiety. And it's really hard to get into, but once you're in it definitely helps.
