I try.
This tends to help. If I really pay attention to him he tends to respond better.
I do my best just to be there for him and allow him to tell me things. I keep my phone on 24-7 so he knows I am always here. he's approaching re-deployment and pushing away, what do I do?.........Thanks!

Listening to your children is key...my son gets very frustrated when he is not heard, like all children. It is a practice I am trying to teach my step children to do with him. They are older, 11 and up and they dont always want to listen and it causes alot of problems.
