Sounds are much lower, more quiet.

I use a radio at night with ear buds, low volume.
I have found that I seem to have one god day ( no ringing ) every three or four days.
Also, the anti-histamine, Loratadine, makes the Tinnitus much worse.
Lipo-flavonoid Plus ( Walgreens ) does help.$27.00 for 100. 2 tablets a day.
