No side effect at all. Managed to reduce my anxiety symptoms dramatically despite being on a very lose dose (5mg a day).

Worked like a champ until it "pooped out".

I am on/off Lexapro.
When I come off I feel great for a week or so then it hits again. A weird low, I get angry and upset with my bf over small things. This leads to sobbing in my room, and sleeping a lot. I never think of suicide, I just want to sleep.

It works very well for me (when I remember to take it). It really calms me down.

I thought it worked for a little while, but then went through this whole "why should I have to take meds everyday" so I stopped taking it.

worked well, but my god the weight gain was horrible !! If you thought the first week or so on this med was bad, wait till you try and come off !! brain zaps and flu like symptoms and my joints in my whole body hurts and still does after 6 months. The weight will not come off, i gained 15 pounds in 3 weeks after coming off ! ! It totally screws up your metablism.

I take Lexapro and Ambilify to amplify the Lexapro affects. It has elliviated all of my symptoms.
